Tools to Empower Nonprofits

We believe that effective community-based organizations that are responsive to the needs of  small businesses and neighborhood residents are key to the success of New York City’s commercial districts. SBS strengthens community-based organizations (CBOs) working on economic development and commercial revitalization across the five boroughs by offering a variety of programs and services to build their management and leadership capacity.
